Contest Win, Canon Rebel XTi & Project Launch Contest Winner!!
I won a photography contest over at Whored Canvas - it was a general contest, but you could only enter non-touched up photos (aside from resize). I entered the pre-photoshoped versions of [link] and [link] - both photos did not require much to get to my final result since the camera picked up the colors nicely! Once again, thanks to Whored Canvas for the subscription!! I think I'm pretty set for a long time 
New Canon Rebel XTi
I mentioned this in a previous journal that quickly got overwritten by the Cat Photo Contest - I finally made the leap from a point and shoot camera to a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. As you may have noticed, I've been submitting photos that are different from what I normally submit. These photos aren't great (yet) - most are a bit on the blurry side, but I'm still learning and I'm hoping that I get tips on how to improve (a tripod will help...).
This is my new equipment:
Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi (Black)
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6; Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro Telephoto Zoom Lens; Opteka Semi-Fisheye HD²/Macro Wide-Angle Converter
Filters: UV, Polarizing, Fluorescent
Other Accessories: Samsonite 53" Deluxe Tripod, Lowepro Micro Trekker 100 Camera Bag; Samsonite Deluxe Carry-All Case; Canon Wireless Remote Control RC1 + Other small things that came in the Kits

My Project Has Launched!
I haven't been as active as I'd like to be this past month because I was working heavy hours on a huge project for Johnson & Johnson. We finally launched on the night of April 24th! You never realize how much can go into a website until you've worked with a huge pharmaceuticals company.

Unfortunately, I cannot take credit for the design itself, just the content loading and management, PDF creation (also turned the template given to me into an inDesign template), some graphic design (mostly with non-flash version and in the media player; as well as formatting the thumbnails to not be square), planning, testing, ideas, input.... and lots and lots of organization.
We're not done yet - there's still many post-launch changes that we have to work on.
